Why We Recycle

 

Twelve years ago, Côte was founded by two moms who couldn’t find a safer, cleaner nail polish option they could trust. Since then, we’ve committed to non-toxic formulas, cruelty-free practices, and vegan ingredients.

 

But clean beauty doesn’t end at the bottle.

 

That’s why we’ve partnered with PACT Collective to make our recycling program even more impactful. This year, we’re accepting not only nail polish bottles (any brand) but also harder-to-recycle beauty packaging like:

• Lip gloss tubes
• Bottle pumps
• Squeezable tubes

 

These items are often tossed in the trash - but they deserve a second life.

 

 

What Happens Next

 

Through our partnership with PACT, we’re able to upcycle polish into new paint, safely dispose of harmful chemicals, and repurpose components that would otherwise end up in landfills.

 

Every package you send back:

• Reduces packaging waste in an industry that needs change
• Keeps toxins out of the environment
• Proves that clean beauty isn’t just a trend - it’s a movement

Recycling with us is simple:

1. Gather your empties: nail polish, pumps, tubes, gloss containers (cleaned if possible)
2. Pack them securely (we love using old newspaper as padding)
3. Ship to our HQ (full address on the form)
